Perhaps the most cost effective method of heating is geothermal heating where a set of pipes running deep into the ground transmit heat to a fluid conductor of heat which can in turn work with a heat exchanger to heat the home. Not only is this a perpetual source of heat, it is extremely efficient and is only associated with high installation costs.
