		<description>I doubt if a wood-burning fireplace is less polluting than centralized heating systems. Perhaps the most cost effective method of heating is geothermal heating where a set of pipes running deep into the ground transmit heat to a fluid conductor of heat which can in turn work with a heat exchanger to heat the home. Not only is this a perpetual source of heat, it is extremely efficient and is only associated with high installation costs. The advantages for dwellings which are to be used and reused for decades are significant.</description>
