From the bit of satellite radio I've heard, some channels do have commercials promoting other satellite radio programs... so I'm not so sure that satellite radio is 100% commercial free. I never find myself ever listening to "free" radio anymore. Fight the Power ! Satellite radio was only made popular as a technology initiative. Like cameras with 15-16 megapixels, they are well known only because they are technologically possible. The money spent on Satellite radio is better spent on an MP3 player with an integrated FM reciever, which can access radio and your MP3s. Another good idea.
