Bigglesworth, I admit many of the jokes aren't that great in RD, but I actually laughed out loud at one today by Tom Burke involving a communication problem caused by accents. Instead of addressing a package to Spokane, Washington, a Tennessee company sent the package to Smoked Ham, Washington.

Anyway, glad you enjoy real print over in the UK!

I love real books but (in the UK at least), in my opinion the reader's digest is full of alzheimers-inducing articles and unfunny jokes...

I prefer real newspapers and books to glossy magazines. They're best for looking at pictures and pictures are best printed in coffee-top books or on the internet.

ErinSlick and Mage, glad to hear I'm not alone regarding real books, magazines, and newspapers. Lighting the fireplace tonight, I had another thought; newspaper is really much better than computer paper for warming up the flue and getting the kindling going.
