TV Still Beats Web Video
Michael Learmonth at Silicon Valley Insider writes an article entitled NBC Olympics Web Video Proves TV Not Dead Yet:
Reality check: NBC U has generated some impressive Web traffic from the Olympic Games, but 99.7% of the actual viewing of the Games is still happening on TV.
I wonder how much of the TV viewing is taking place for free? After all, NBC is broadcast free of charge. Why do people pay for cable and satellite subscriptions to watch free shows?
