Using Vinegar for Cleaning: Killing Two Birds with One Stone
Today, I cleaned our coffee maker by running a cycle with just vinegar. After the cycle, the coffee maker was clean and I was left with a pot of hot vinegar. What can you do with a pot of hot vinegar?
I soaked our showerhead in the vinegar, which had become clogged with mineral deposits, for a couple of hours. The vinegar breaks down the mineral deposits and restores the flow.
Note: After running a vinegar cycle through a coffee maker, run a couple cycles of water through it to flush out the vinegar.
