In general, I hate articles you have to keep clicking to see each item, but I will link to this one Evan Shamoon wrote for Switched.com.  It would be much better for the readers to see the list first and then get to click any item they want to find out more about.  But a lot of sites just cares about pageviews, so they make you click through the whole article.
