Bar Keeper’s Friend is a U.S. made cleaning product that has been around for a long time:

Bar Keepers Friend has been manufactured in Indianapolis as a cleanser for brass ornaments since 1882. Our founder formulated the smooth cleanser, and he himself peddled Bar Keepers Friend throughout central Indiana. He concentrated on places where there was an abundance of ornate metal work – the saloons of the gay 80s and 90s.

My wife and I have recently started using BarKeeper’s Friend and have found it to be excellent in shining stainless steel pots and pans.

Additionally, we have well water and had unsuccessfully tried using several other products to remove some metal stains from toilet bowls. Bar Keeper’s Friend was effective.
