The Coming GPS Breakdown?

US government officials are concerned that the quality of the Global Positioning System (GPS) could begin to deteriorate as early as next year, resulting in regular blackouts and failures – or even dishing out inaccurate directions to millions of people worldwide.
GPS Users Lazy?
My wife and I recently ate dinner out with good friends M.R. and K.R. in Alexandria and they brought up the point that it is lazy to always rely on a GPS system for navigation. Isn’t it better to learn your own way around?
GPS Safety
Aside from navigation errors provided by GPS systems, I’ve often wondered why it is illegal to have fuzzy dice hanging from your rear view mirror while, at the same time, so many people have GPS screens blocking a part of their front window.
