Cancel HBO

As long-time readers are aware, I am a proponent of free over-the-air tv. Why pay to watch crap when there’s plenty of decent shows available for free?

Curb Your Enthusiam Controversy

In the car tonight, I caught some of The Savage Nation radio show. Dr. Michael Savage urged his listeners to cancel HBO after a recent episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. The controversial episode featured Larry David splashing urine on a picture of Christ.

Can you be happy without HBO?

Certainly. In fact, go all the way and cancel cable completely. I’m picking up dozens of channels for free including the major networks, pbs channels, cartoon channels, international channels, retro tv, channels that show movies, a sports channel, and even a cooking channel.

You don’t need cable to find good progams. My favorite program is 24, but my wife and I have recently also started watching a new show called Glee. Tonight, I’m watching Game 1 of the World Series. So many people pay $$$ every month mainly just to watch programs they could be picking up for free with an antenna.
