I often don’t care for much pop music out these days, but Falling Slowly is a good song. The original is acoustic with just guitar, piano, and voice.
Once
The song was featured in a movie called Once. Once was good, although a bit different than most movies in that not a lot happens during the movie. Low-Tech Times Rating = 2 1/2 stars.

American Idol
As mentioned earlier, I’m watching American Idol this season on free over-the-air tv. Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze performed a short version of the song as a duet last week. The performance was good, but not perfect. However, the judges loved it and a full length polished version of Falling Slowly is available from American Idol Studios. Shop at the iTunes Music Store.
