Repairs are Underway on Railroad’s Car Float

I believe there was some concern earlier about the car float permanently closing, but now Delmarva.com reports that the old railroad car float is being repaired:

The car float in 2008 made the trip across the bay 38 times, about every 10 days, carrying 13-14 cars each time. It can carry up to 25 cars, depending on their weight and length.
