The guitar duo of Gillian Welch and David Rawlings featuring great harmonies is one of the top acts in the Americana genre of music and is also one of our favorites. Gillian has a great female lead voice and it blends very nicely with her partner David’s own voice. David Rawlings is also a very fine guitar player, picking his antique Epiphone Olympic archtop guitar like he means it.
Here are our Gillian Welch song recommendations. Our favorite albums are their early albums Hell Among the Yearlings – Gillian Welch and Revival – Gillian Welch.
