Old Crow Medicine Show Lineup Changes

Chance McCoy has joined the Old Crow Medicine Show band, which is one of the Low-Tech Times staff’s favorite bands. Chance McCoy and Critter Fuqua (himself a former member) are now in the group following the departure of Willie Watson. Chance McCoy is from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and Critter is from Harrisonburg, Virginia.

New OCMS Album

OCMS is releasing a new album entitled Carry Me Back on July 17th. Click Carry Me Back to pre-order. You can also preview one of the songs here.

Free Music

You can download the Debut album from Chance McCoy and The Appalachian String band in exchange for signing up for their mailing list. I’ve listened to it a few times and it is really a nice album for an unreal price (free). I especially liked the fiddle tunes which were done really well, including Lost Girl, Cranberry Rock, Jimmy Johnson, and Wednesday Night Waltz. You can download the album from the Chance McCoy’s Home on the Web.
