Hunger Games Trilogy

I finished reading the Hunger Games trilogy this past summer. I previously reviewed the first book in the series, The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games (Book 1) is the most low-tech oriented of the series with a lot of focus on hunting and gathering in the future as a means of survival. In Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, Book 2) a low-tech spool of wire plays a key part in the exciting ending of the book. Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, Book 3) is a bit more high-tech, but bows and arrows continue to play a role through the series.

Overall, I have to admit I enjoyed reading this young-adult series. I watched the first movie, The Hunger Games, and will want to watch the other movies when they are released.
