The Earl Brothers: Whiskey, Women & Death
I got a CD for Christmas I had put on my Christmas list. I had heard a couple of Earl Brothers songs on Pandora radio and liked them. Individual songs are not available for purchase, but I have been enjoying their CD of well-written songs entitled Whiskey, Women & Death. The vocals are distinctive and the banjo picking on the album reminds me of Ralph Stanley.
Favorite tracks include:
- Been Sittin’ Here Drinkin’
- Mountain Rumpus (instrumental)
- Bender
- Don’t Drink From a Whiskey Bottle
- Bad Road of Regret
The album is available through Amazon.com:
